Oleg Obnosov. Artist.

The main theme of the art of Oleg Obnosov is acceptance of the world in its initial purity and integrity and belief that its development is based on the will of the superior power. The artist is confident that only the choice of the true pathway, leading to the primordial purity, to the Lord, enables a man to discover the beauty and uniqueness of the Universe, to grasp the genuine value of every individuality.

The space of the artist�s works is wide open into the flight of Spirit. They are filled with the power of heavenly lighting and the joy of a flying angel making his appearance in golden chasuble. Earthly life is a harmonious reflection of heavens, therefore nature is shown in the untouched clarity of its image.

By means of painting the artist evinces the beauty and value of the world created by the Lord for the good of existence. But the world is too fragile and dependent on people�s consciousness and communication between them. Using the specific manner of the paint-brush stroke, vibrating and musical to some extent, the artist celebrates love and tenderness, poetry of the world, the triumph of spring and light over cold and darkness.

The artist discovers and presents signs of the era to come. He defines his understanding of existence as the method of transcendental realism. He longs for the Eternal, personified in the transformed nature, soul and love.

Oleg Obnosov was born in 1959 in the town of Tekeli (Kazakhstan). In 1974 he moved to Leningrad. He graduated from Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute of Communications. Oleg worked as an engineer in the Research Institute for Radio. Then he studied painting and graphics in Leningrad Academy of Industry and Design. Since 1980 he works in industrial design. Since 1990 Oleg has taken part in numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
